AMAZON RING SPYING COULD GET EVEN WORSE

Researchers Found That Ring Could Be Easy Target For Hackers

Robert B. Engel, chief spokesperson for the Free & Fair Markets Initiative (FFMI), released the following statement in response to news that security researchers found more security vulnerabilities on Amazon-owned Ring’s video doorbell feed.

“The drip-drip around Amazon-owned Ring’s security problems gets more alarming by the day. First, we learned that Ring employees had access to private video feeds, and now we find out that criminal hackers could have a field day taking advantage of lax protections.

Lawmakers and regulators must demand answers from Amazon and get to the bottom of this once and for all.”
